Eric (Stephen Collins) feeds the twins while talking to Annie (Catherine Hicks) . Annie informs Eric that the Meals on Wheels van has died, and they need to get another car since they no longer have the station wagon. Eric is worried about the church not giving him a raise. Ruthie comes downstairs, and Annie suggests Ruthie and Eric go together to pick out a new car. Ruthie is excited that she gets to go without the twins. (Is Ruthie still not over the twins taking the youngest child position)?  She goes upstairs to get ready for school. The opening credits come up, and the theme song plays. Matt sweeps the floor in the hospital cafeteria. He crashes into a woman when he turns and spills her coffee. (I am not 100% sure if Matt hit her or if she hit him). While he's cleaning the spill, John (Chaz Lamar Shepherd) comes in and thanks Matt because he just got hired as the music program for the hospital. (Is this a real thing? I've never heard of it).  A man tells Matt that ther

Eric (Stephen Collins) talks with his wife, Annie (Catherine Hicks) .  Eric is excited about returning to work, but Annie thinks it's too soon. It has only been three weeks since his heart attack. He tells her that the counseling sessions make him feel alive but won't work too hard as he wishes to stay alive. (Yes, being alive only works if you stay alive).  Annie leaves with the children sans Matt. Mary asks her mother when they are going to replace the station wagon. Matt asks his mom to go to Shana's apartment because he suspects something is up. Annie doesn't want to just show up to pry information out of Shana. Matt shows his mother a skirt that he told Shana he would ask Annie to hem the skirt for her by lunchtime. (At least he didn't wait until the VERY last minute or anything).  She tells him to get her sewing stuff and throw it in the car. While she's out, Annie sees some protesters with signs that say "Stop Gender Apartheid." Someone hands

Matt (Barry Watson) holding Sam and David (played by the Brino quadruplets at this point), and Eric (Stephen Collins) talking to Annie after dinner.  The Camden family just finished dinner, but Ruthie, Simon, Lucy, and Mary leave after to get a burger and fries because they didn't care much for the fish.  (I totally get that).  They go, and Matt comes into the kitchen with the twins, followed by Eric. Eric loved the fish. He kisses Annie. Eric leaves, and Annie tells her oldest son she wants a burrito supreme and a churro. Matt hands the twins to their mother and leaves. The opening credits come up, and the theme song plays. Eric is singing, "Do Lord,"   and it wakes up everyone. Ruthie comes out of her room and goes into her parents' room to tell Annie. Annie: Well, it's okay, you know. Dad's just really happy, so he's sharing his happiness, nighttime, daytime, all the time!  (And here Annie shows classic signs of a person about to lose it). They try
