Carolyn's Review of Her DVDs

  Simon (David Gallagher) tells Nigel (David Netter) that he doesn't know what to get Deena for their anniversary. Nigel doesn't want to spend his weekend searching for a gift for Simon to give to Deena. Simon tells him three months is a big deal, but Nigel says "anniversary implies yearly." Ruthie comes into Simon's room singing the "K-I-S-S-I-N-G Song" about Simon and Deena. She wants to play, but Simon says he is busy; Ruthie reminds him he is babysitting her while his parents are at the hospital. Nigel asks if Mrs. Camden is having the twins. Simon: Don't you think I would have told you that? Nigel: Not unless Deena was with them.  (Haha, great reply)!  Lucy is picking out clothes for a date with Mary's help. Mary tells her the white one, so Lucy puts on the blue one. She tells her sister that it's ironic when Mary was with Wilson, all the other guys wanted to date her, and now that she's single, she can't get a date. Lucy point...

  Mary (Jessica Biel) with the driving test instructor (Rod Loomis) . Mary is taking her driving test to get her license; however, she doesn't know how to parallel park.  (Parallel parking is a biggie in driving tests).  Lucy tells Mary to cry if the instructor asks him to parallel park. Annie is at the payphone talking to Eric and explains if she told Mary she wasn't ready, Mary would be mad at her and Eric, but if the instructor told her, Mary would be mad at him.  (Way to pass the buck, Annie).  Annie tries to get alone to be romantic with her husband, but Eric is busy. The instructor tells Mary she's an excellent driver and asks her to parallel park. Mary hits the poles in front and behind the car.  (Perhaps that "excellent driver" remark was a little premature).  When the instructor tells her she can't parallel park, she cries.  (In a fake sort of way).  Matt is at a light, and a man cleans his window while he's stopped.   Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) is baking cookies and dancing with her mother (Catharine Hicks) .  Ruthie and her mother dance in the kitchen while making cookies. Simon comes in and shows them how to really dance. He is wearing his candy cane pajamas which he has outgrown. Annie tells him he needs new ones, but he is upset and doesn't want new ones. (It's time, Simon). The older girls come into the kitchen complaining to their mother about their father. They are upset they are being forced to volunteer on their Christmas vacation. Matt asks if they are getting someone else to do the Living Nativity scene, and Annie says she hopes not because she loves doing it. Matt tells her she doesn't need to worry.
